Compute Ontario

Compute Ontario is a not-for-profit corporation with a mandate to coordinate advanced computing in Ontario. The organization provides a central hub to support the province’s Advanced Research Computing and Big Data Strategy, working with universities, colleges, hospitals, industry, and government to ensure Ontario’s researchers get the tools and resources they need to further their research.

Mashup (then known as Ripple) has been proud to partner with Compute Ontario on many creative projects, including the development of the organization’s brand identity, which launched in 2018 with a new logo, brand colours, typography, stationery, business cards, templates for Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and more.

Mashup has also worked with Compute Ontario to develop a separate and distinct logo/identity for the Ontario Advanced Research Computing Congress, which the organization hosted at the MaRS Centre in Toronto in the spring of 2018. Mashup also oversaw social media community management and photography for the event.

“The team at Mashup (formerly Ripple) prioritizes creativity and excellence. We’ve worked with Mashup on a variety of projects and consistently find we’re presented with smart, well-curated, and insightful options that have led to impactful results. Friendly and highly responsive client service allows us to stay on top of our projects, saving us precious time and resources.”

Carolyn Fell, Director of Communications and Stakeholder Relations, Compute Ontario.
